You promised me

S: “Then Jacob prayed, “O God of my grandfather Abraham, and God of my father, Isaac—O LORD, you told me, ‘Return to your own land and to your relatives.’ And you promised me, ‘I will treat you kindly.’ I am not worthy of all the unfailing love and faithfulness you have shown to me, your servant. When I left home and crossed the Jordan River, I owned nothing except a walking stick. Now my household fills two large camps! O LORD, please rescue me from the hand of my brother, Esau. I am afraid that he is coming to attack me, along with my wives and children. But you promised me, ‘I will surely treat you kindly, and I will multiply your descendants until they become as numerous as the sands along the seashore—too many to count.’””
Genesis 32:9-12 NLT

O: Esau and Jacob since birth had an unusual relationship, especially being twins. Jacob had held up his name as deceiver. Now, 20 years later Jacob feels there maybe still tension between them. He then prays and reminds God, you called me to go back to my families land, be with my brother and also be with me as you have promised.

A: God has called me back to Denver and as it stands, there's a lot of hostility between Tana and I for sure. Who knows with the other siblings or even with the rest of the family. Yet a key thing Jacob did was pray. I have to pray, pray hard and pray fervently. My calling, my child and my promise lies within the city of Denver, I must pray against anything that may come against it. I must protect it at all cost.

P: Oh God of Sarah, Rebecca and Leah, you told me to return to Denver and you promised me I would reclaim what the enemy has taken from me. Like Jacob, I am not worthy of all the unfailing love and faithfulness you have shown to me, your servant. When I left Denver I was broken, addicted and misused. Now, I am a strong woman of God, a wife, a mother and a courageous and confident speaker!!!! O LORD, please rescue me from the hand of my sister, Tana. I am afraid that she has attacked me, along with my husband and child. But you promised me, ‘I will surely be with you until the day of completion, when Chroat Jesus returns. I may be in suffering, but great is he, are you that is within me. I no longer am a slave to fear, for I am your child oh God! I pray this all in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!
