Let God settle the Score

6/30/15

- You can't control what happens to you, but you can control your reaction.
- God says maturity and responsibility are evident in your life when you can handle the pressures and pains without becoming stressed out or angry and blowing up.
- put your mind in gear before you put your mouth in motion.
- Being responsible in your responses means more than what you say. It's also in your actions.
- "Don't let evil get the best of you, but conquer evil by doing good." (Romans 12:21 LB)
- When you try to get even with someone for what they did to you, you've just lowered yourself to their standard.
- And a person who tries to get even is no better than the person who did the wrong.
(Rick Warren Daily Devotion)

S: I have done the Lord’s work humbly and with many tears. I have endured the trials that came to me from the plots of the Jews. (Acts of the Apostles 20:19 NLT)

But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God. (Acts of the Apostles 20:24 NLT)

O: Regardless of my plea John is leaving to Denver. Unknown of where the decision may lead our relationship. I can't control his decision, but I can control my response to it. I believe I have matured and therefore can accept the responsibility of being a single mom who is still able to manage my gift and calling alongside a job. It was inevitable that John would make such a decision. Though it may hurt, I can handle it without getting puffed up.

A: The proof of my maturity and responsibility is in my verbal response. The message is clear, I disagree and am uncomfortable with the decision, however, my words and actions must reflect growth. I'm above the standard of selfishness. I am better than this wrong. I must carry myself with pride and not disgrace. I have the opportunity to be the women of God, the mother, and fulfill the healthy lifestyle style I desire with no distractions and no excuses.

P: You have called me by name. I belong to you Lord. Humbly I come to your throne of grace knowing I will endure the unknown with tears. For you will always provide a way out. As you did last Wednesday as I called on your name. You didn't stop the storm, you sent help. I have endured trials before and I will continue to endure them. Without you oh God I am nothing. My life is nothing and useless unless I use this pressure and this pain to mold me and to create something great. Unless I use this to complete the work God has given me to do. The work of victory that comes from a relationship with you!!!! You are good!!!! You will never waste a hurt. Re-establish the drive to healthy living. My why is Christ like character. I will ensure, adjust, inspire. I will continue to grow in wisdom, stature, favor with God and favor with man. I know who I am. I am yours. Here's to a new Liz from this day forward. Transform my mind. In the powerful name of Jesus, amen.

You are with me

6/27/15

- the Word of God is our foundation.
- I want the people I care about to be free: I don't want them bound up by guilt. I don't want them bound up by worry. I don't want them messed up by resentment. I don't want them to be pressured by the expectations of others.
- Jesus said, " You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:32 TEV)
- when you build your life on God's Word, you'll have a life of genuine freedom.
- teach them to rely on God's Word as the sole authority for their lives.
(Rick Warren Daily Devotion)

S: One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, “Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent! For I am with you, and no one will attack and harm you, for many people in this city belong to me.” (Acts of the Apostles 18:9-10 NLT)

P: I'm at a lost. Thank you for never changing. I continue to praise your name and enjoy the process even as I am in the middle of it. Help me in my thoughts. I want to master your word so through me others can be saved. I know you are with me. I will not be afraid. I will speak out!!!!! I will not be silent any more. Sometimes in the middle of it situations seem hard , yet, God you are with me. No one will attack me or my family. I love you Lord, you are wonderful. In Jesus name. Amen.

Teach me

6/25/14

- God waits to see what we're going to do with what we have before He steps in and turns a little into a lot.
- Never underestimate what God can do through ordinary people and limited resources given to him in faith.
- If you want to be used by God just get available.
- If you want a miracle in your life, you cannot hold anything back from God.
(Rick Warren Daily Devotion)

S: I am losing all hope; I am paralyzed with fear. (Psalms 143:4 NLT)

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing. For the glory of your name, O LORD, preserve my life. Because of your faithfulness, bring me out of this distress. (Psalms 143:10-11 NLT)

O: I have unique talents and abilities. I have a phenomenal story and an out of this world ability to encourage. I also enjoy being detailed and following order. God has given me these talents and abilities. He has also given me my life as it is laid before me. Most importantly, he hasn't given me more than I can handle. However if I can't be successful in all that already, how can he give me more? We are in an unusual circumstances yet God says he can!!!! He can still use us in our lack of resources as long as we give in faith.

A: I need to become more available to God. Worrying leads to death. Worry is a feeling and that's not who I am. I want a miracle in my life according to Gods will. Therefore I can't hold back. I may be compelled to lose hope or fear may try to paralyze me, but greater is he that is in me.

P: May this scripture be my prayer this morning, "Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing. For the glory of your name, O LORD, preserve my life. Because of your faithfulness, bring me out of this distress." In Jesus name, amen.

Just as the Lord has Promised

6/23/15

- Every miracle begins with a problem. If you don't have a problem, you don't need a miracle.
- The starting point is to recognize there is a problem.
- write down one problem in your life where you'd like to see a miracle. Then pray and tell God about this problem.
(Rick Warren Daily Devotion)
     - One problem is having time to.
     manage money. I feel overwhelmed
with the amount of responsibility I
have that the basic needs, food,
     finance, and clothing get neglected.
I would like to see a miracle within
me of wisdom to truly balance the
basic needs. I know I can do it, I just
need to do it; with Gods help.
Lord, I praise you for waking me up this morning and allowing me to see another day! I thank you for grace! I thank you for the ability to dream and the ability to know you and make you known. You are wonderful!!!! Husband daddy, I need a miracle of wisdom within me to help assist my decision making. To be a woman of integrity by sticking to my word. Abba, please see my heart and not my mistakes. May a door open with a job and everything work out for child care according to your will. I love you Lord! There is nothing and no one greater than you! I praise you. I pray this in Jesus wonderful name, amen.

S: Some of the stew was served to the men. But after they had eaten a bite or two they cried out, “Man of God, there’s poison in this stew!” So they would not eat it. Elisha said, “Bring me some flour.” Then he threw it into the pot and said, “Now it’s all right; go ahead and eat.” And then it did not harm them. (2 Kings 4:40-41 NLT)

One day a man from Baal-shalishah brought the man of God a sack of fresh grain and twenty loaves of barley bread made from the first grain of his harvest. Elisha said, “Give it to the people so they can eat.” “What?” his servant exclaimed. “Feed a hundred people with only this?” But Elisha repeated, “Give it to the people so they can eat, for this is what the LORD says: Everyone will eat, and there will even be some left over!” And when they gave it to the people, there was plenty for all and some left over, just as the LORD had promised. (2 Kings 4:42-44 NLT)

But his officers tried to reason with him and said, “Sir, if the prophet had told you to do something very difficult, wouldn’t you have done it? So you should certainly obey him when he says simply, ‘Go and wash and be cured!’” (2 Kings 5:13 NLT)

But Elisha asked him, “Don’t you realize that I was there in spirit when Naaman stepped down from his chariot to meet you? Is this the time to receive money and clothing, olive groves and vineyards, sheep and cattle, and male and female servants? (2 Kings 5:26 NLT)

O: Wow! I love how God talks with me!!!! The first devotion talked about identifying the problem first in order to receive a miracle from God, than to pray and tell God. After doing so my next devotion was about several different miracles. The first problem was poison in the stew. Elisha takes some flour, pours it and stirs in the stew and it was alright to eat. Nothing harmed them. The second problem was a sack of grain and twenty loaves of bread to feed hundred of people. The Lord said everyone would eat and there will be leftovers. Elisha stood on the word Jesus said. There was plenty left over just as Jesus promised.
The next problem, in the next chapter of other devotion I read, was Naaman had leprosy. Naaman went to one prophet to be cured and the prophet tore his clothes declaring who am I to cure leprosy. Naaman went to Elisha who told him a simple way to be healed but he was too prideful to receive his simple healing. He denied the process he expected the process to be difficult. His officers said to him, If it were difficult you would do it but because it's simple you doubt.

A: My miracle is here!!!! However, my gift and call has been dabbled with poison. I need to add some substance to my gift and calling and stir it in. Than it will be alright and nothing can cause it any harm. I need to stand firm just on what Jesus has promised!!!! And I will touch more people with the little message I have to give. The process is simple. However, due to a hard life and everything currently going on being so difficult I don't accept the simplicity of what God is doing within me. I doubt the simple because it's no difficult.

P: What a phenomenal God you are!!!! You speak to me so clearly that I get distraught by trying to complicate things. I caused own problems yet you stand by awaiting a miracle for me first than by others. I understand, this is not the season to receive money from speaking but to receive the nuggets and treasures you are giving me. Wisdom will come with experience. I believe Char is wise and she considered me to be part those among her amazing being. I am grateful for your words oh Lord. Please be with me as you know the desires of my heart. I Jesus powerful name I pray, amen.

Do It Anyway

6/22/15

- There comes a point in life where you have to stop talking about and praying about a barrier in your life. You must step out -- in spite of your feelings, your fears, and your doubts.
- God said, "I'm going to do a miracle! But I want you to step in first. This is a test."
- What do you do when you know something is God's will but you're scared to death to do it? You do it anyway!
(Rick Warren Daily Devotion)
- Face your fears. "If you wait for perfect conditions, you'll never get anything done!" (Ecclesiastes 11:4 NIV)

S: LORD, do not let evil people have their way. Do not let their evil schemes succeed, or they will become proud. Interlude (Psalms 140:8 NLT)

O: Yesterday on the call ET shared some powerful points on relinquishing and there always has to be a compromiser. He used this example of not telling his wife they were moving back to Michigan when he felt it was a God thing. She was initially upset however later apologized due to her behavior. I feel as its God to stay here because I haven't felt a release yet. However, to compromise in my marriage is to let John try out this job. Maybe it'll lead back to Grand Junction or maybe God will release us. Either way I need to step out in faith and also stay grounded. My feelings got the best of me at the beginning of this journey but I'm going to set aside my feelings, fear and doubt and enjoy the process. I know what Gods will is for me in using his will for my marriage. Therefore must stay consistent and keep at it. Who I am becoming in the process is greater then the decision that may or may not need to be made.

A: I am facing my fear of the unknown and trusting God. If I wait for a decision to be made before continuing what I know I should be doing, it'll never get done. I must be busy waiting and again, enjoying the process!

P: Abba Father, coming messiah! You deserve all of the praise and the honor. Glory to your name on high!!!! Thank you for being with me and challenging my faith. I say I believe in you but do I really believe when in the mist of a tough situation? Do I believe in you enough to trust you, to trust you process. I step aside Husband Daddy, do your will! I know there will never be a perfect decision, but I should not stop chasing after you. Let your will be done, not the way of evil people. Please do not allow there schemes to prosper. Dwell within my success may I not follow a proud heart or become proud. You are holy!  You deserve the glory. You deserve it all. In Jesus precious name, amen.

I Lean

6/21/15

- When you lean on God it means more than just "I believe in God." It means, "I am trusting Him to hold me up."
- leaning on the approval of other people is a very shaky foundation. People are going to let you down. Nobody can hold you up all the time
- If you say, "I'll just depend on me!" you'll disappoint yourself.
- "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5 NIV)
- Leaning on the Lord is scary. It's uncomfortable sometimes. But that's what leaning in faith is all about.
(Rick Warren Daily Devotion)

S: Then Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and declared, “It was necessary that we first preach the word of God to you Jews. But since you have rejected it and judged yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we will offer it to the Gentiles. For the Lord gave us this command when he said, ‘I have made you a light to the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the farthest corners of the earth.’ ” When the Gentiles heard this, they were very glad and thanked the Lord for his message; and all who were chosen for eternal life became believers. So the Lord’s message spread throughout that region. (Acts of the Apostles 13:46-49 NLT)

The same thing happened in Iconium. Paul and Barnabas went to the Jewish synagogue and preached with such power that a great number of both Jews and Greeks became believers.

But the apostles stayed there a long time, preaching boldly about the grace of the Lord. And the Lord proved their message was true by giving them power to do miraculous signs and wonders. (Acts of the Apostles 14:1, 3 NLT)

You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! (Psalms 139:5-7 NLT)

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. (Psalms 139:13 NLT)

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. (Psalms 139:23-24 NLT)

O: In Metro Kids we sung a song with the lyrics, "I lean, I lean, I lean, I lean, I'm leaning on the Lord's side." What it means to lean on the Lord's side is to trust in God, trust the prices for God is the process. People have always failed me. I have always failed myself,  God however, has never failed me. He has been the constant thing in my life. Therefore, leaning on the Lord's side in every area of my life is greater than leaning on myself and the recognition of others. I will acknowledge God always that he direct my path. Not me or John, Paul, or Chris.

A: My spiritual gift is exhortation and my Biblical example is Barnabas. Barnabas in all his ways leaned on the Lord not his self and definitely not the approval of others. He spoke out boldly and declared the good news to all who God has called him to. Some of the Jews rejected the message yet Barnabas, along with Paul, too the good news to the Gentiles. For God had commanded them to be there light. No matter the opposition, they preached with power. They continued to preach boldly and God proved there message to be true by the miraculous things they had down. They trusted in God even when people rejected there message. They did not lean on themselves or each other they trusted in the process. Therefore I to must lean on God and trust the message he has given me and speak it boldly. Parents will reject it, Paul, Ash, the students will reject it but I must continue to preach the message God has given me and trust him and he will approve my message!

P: I know you are for me husband daddy. I know that you believe in me and have called me abba father. Worthy is your name! Worthy are you and your ways almighty God! I lean oh how I lean on you and trust you by trusting the process. My understanding of what you are doing is insignificant. I am nothing you are everything. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. In the powerful name of Jesus, amen.

Discover Them

6/20/15

-  God promises strength: what God asks you to do, he'll give you the power to do.
- God promises success: "You will be successful." (Joshua 1:6)
- God promises support: God's word, done God's way, will not lack God's support.
- God has many, many promises for you in the Bible but you've got to discover them.
- God's promise of success is not based on your ability. It's based on your commitment to His Word.
(Rick Warren Daily Devotion)
- Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20 NLT)
- No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you. “Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them. (Joshua 1:5-6 NLT)

Commit to his word
His power at work within us to accomplish
More than we might ask
I will be with you
I will not fail you or abandon you
Be strong and courageous
You are the one

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:8-9 NLT)

S: But first let’s find out what the LORD says.” (1 Kings 22:5 NLT)

Meanwhile, the messenger who went to get Micaiah said to him, “Look, all the prophets are promising victory for the king. Be sure that you agree with them and promise success.” But Micaiah replied, “As surely as the LORD lives, I will say only what the LORD tells me to say.” (1 Kings 22:13-14 NLT)

But God removed Saul and replaced him with David, a man about whom God said, ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart. He will do everything I want him to do.’ “And it is one of King David’s descendants, Jesus, who is God’s promised Savior of Israel! (Acts of the Apostles 13:22-23 NLT)

Though the LORD is great, he cares for the humble, but he keeps his distance from the proud. (Psalms 138:6 NLT)

The LORD will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me. (Psalms 138:8 NLT)

O: First and foremost, remember God's promises. Not just the one in song, but the ones he declares over me in his word.  I will triumph by staying committed to his word. Committing to the word of God means continually studying its instructions and meditating on it daily to obey every word. This is the real secret to success therefore when I stay grounded in this commitment to God, I will prosper!!!! With strength and courage I will not be afraid, I will not be discouraged. For the Lord my God, my husband daddy will go with me!!!!

A: I have a tough decision ahead of me, but before Paul, John and Chris, I need to find out what God says. I'm sitting here arguing with myself about what God is revealing to me in scripture. God I step aside and allow your word to speak through my feelings in Jesus name. Once again victory is being promised. It's easy to agree with the promise. But what is the Lord telling me. I removed Saul who said he followed me but did not follow my commands. I replaced him with David whom I given my only son to be a decedent as I promised. For David despite the affair with Uriah was a man after my own heart. Jesus is your savior Liz! Be humble for you know how pride can distance you from me. I will work out my plans for your life and your faithful love toward me. I won't abandon what I have made.

P: Who am I that you would love me? Who am I oh Lord, precious father that you would speak so directly with your servant? Who am I God? Who am I but your child. If I need to pray, I'll pray. If I need to be still, I will be still.  My situation is to remain serving you here in Grand Junction or releasing us to serve you in Denver. Please give me clarity as clear as can be with this decision and may I not waver on the decision. Give John guidance and wisdom over a job and wisdom over his decisions. Be with my mouth and my thoughts. Give me wisdom and guidance, give me peace. May I live out today with humility from the Holy Spirit. I love you Lord!!!! You are beyond incredible. May your will, not our ego be done. Purify me. I pray this all in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

God's Way

6/17/15

- you should use the money God gives you to bring people to Christ.
- It's the best financial investment you'll ever make.
(Rick Warren Daily Devotion)

S: And since God gave these Gentiles the same gift he gave us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to stand in God’s way?” (Acts of the Apostles 11:17 NLT)

Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and strong in faith. And many people were brought to the Lord. (Acts of the Apostles 11:24 NLT)

O: Making more money does mean I can give more. I desire to invest in the Sun Valley Youth Center. Who am I to stand in the way of what God is doing through me? There maybe a kid who is struggling to get by who needs my financial investment but I'm not bold and courageous enough to speak up about what I'm worth and what I deserve. My fear is my negative reputation. I don't want to come off too strong and offend people. Paul said it great, make a decision and stick with it. That's the trait of a real leader. No one wants to follow someone who is wishy washy in there decision making.

A: Just like Barnabas, I am a good woman. I just happened to have a traumatic childhood. However, I am special because God  made me and he doesn't make mistakes. I am full of the Spirit, and strong in faith. As God told Joshua several times in the Old Testament, be strong and courageous! And then many people will come to the Lord.

P: Husband Daddy, I've realized that what I have done in the past has distanced me from you in the present. However, I am determined in my heart to do whatever to be free so I can walk in strength and courage. My haughty and prideful behavior is no longer my identity, my identity is in you. MY NAME IS VICTORY!!!! In Jesus name I pray, amen.

Save It

6/15/15

- God rejected their excuses. "Don't say that," the Lord replied, "for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don't be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and take care of you." (Jeremiah 1:7-8 NLT)
-  The Great Commission is your commission, and doing your part is the secret to living a life of significance.
(Rick Warren Daily Devotion)
- If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it. (Mark 8:35 NLT)

S: I ripped the kingdom away from the family of David and gave it to you. But you have not been like my servant David, who obeyed my commands and followed me with all his heart and always did whatever I wanted. (1 Kings 14:8 NLT)

But for David’s sake, the LORD his God allowed his descendants to continue ruling, shining like a lamp, and he gave Abijam a son to rule after him in Jerusalem. For David had done what was pleasing in the LORD’s sight and had obeyed the LORD’s commands throughout his life, except in the affair concerning Uriah the Hittite. (1 Kings 15:4-5 NLT)

Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And there the LORD has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting. (Psalms 133:3 NLT)

O: What a powerful phrase, God rejected there excuses. No matter the simplicity or the extreme of an excuse God rejects it. He's not in the business of pity parties and what it's. He wants us to make a decision to follow him than to follow him with all our heart. Sure we may be afraid, those are the worldly things we have come to for comfort but God rejects that excuse and declares over us, go where I sent you, say what I tell you, I will be with you and I will take care of you. All we must do is our part, go. It's crazy. He's literally saying I got you, just go. Just give your life for my sake and for the sake of the gospel and save it. David gave his life for God's sake and for David's sake God continued to allow David's descendants to rule over Judah despite them not following his commands.

A: I look at the life of David. God made a promise to him and his descendants. After his son Solomon was king no longer will the Israelites be ruled by David's descendants. But God remembered his promise to David and gave Judah to David's descendants to rule over. Yet even then there were kings who didn't rule over Judah as David did but God never forgot David's promise. David set the example. God says, you haven't been like my servant David. He obeyed my commands, he followed me with all his heart and he always did whatever I wanted. That's all God is asking of us. Liz, serve me. Obey my commands, follow me with all your heart and always do what I say no matter what. I will reject and excuse.

P: Sovereign God, it pleases you. Everything David had done was pleasing in your sight and he obeyed you with his life except with Bathsheba. Oh wonderful Father of it pleases you I come, knew bowed and body bent to your throne of grace. Except in my marriage and before I started a relationship with you and became free of my oppression. I want to live like David lived as your servant; obeying your commands, following you with all your heart and always doing what you say no matter what. Reject every excuse dear God may I be the shining light. If it please you I come into your presence, humbly at your throne. Take all of me and do with me as you will. I want to give my life for your sake and for the sake of the good news, save it God. Make me ever new and may I live in harmony with John, where you oh Lord have pronounced your blessing and life everlasting. I pray this I'm the mighty name of your son Jesus, amen.

Get up and Go

6/13/15

- People are most receptive to God when they are under tension or in transition.
- The best way to develop Great Commission eyes is to just get up and go on a short-term mission project to another country! There's simply no substitute for hands-on, real life experience in another culture.
(Rick Warren Daily Devotion)
- The LORD replied, “Look around at the nations; look and be amazed! For I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn’t believe even if someone told you about it. (Habakkuk 1:5 NLT)
- This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace. (Colossians 1:6 NLT)

S: But the Lord said, “Go, for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel. (Acts of the Apostles 9:15 NLT)

Saul’s preaching became more and more powerful, and the Jews in Damascus couldn’t refute his proofs that Jesus was indeed the Messiah. (Acts of the Apostles 9:22 NLT)

O: My gift and call is my tool in reaching people for Christ to build the kingdom of God. Unlike what I have concocted in my head, now more than ever before people are receptive of hearing God. Many are facing conflict or transitional periods of their lives in which they are needing to hear that they are not alone. To the ends of the earth the good news of God is being spoken. Even in countries where Bibles aren't allowed, only God!

A: I am Gods chosen instrument to take his message to the youth, to toastmasters and to growth track. Than to grow out into my community, to the country and to nations around the world. The more I speak, the more and more powerful it will be. No one can refute a woman marinate in God and sent by Holy Spirit to spread the gospel of Christ. I can, I will, I must!!!!

P: Heavenly Father how wonderfully sovereign you are! Thank for always loving me gracious Lord. Heal me of my broken heart and contrite spirit. Forgive me of my sins and trying to do things my own way. Open doors that lead me to your heart when it comes to jobs I apply for. May I stop wavering. Please close the doors of my soul that will be tied into anyone or anything that will be tied to you. Deliver me from emotional eating and keep my boundaries from being breached. I will remain you who have sent me. Help me in my unbelief. I praise you oh merciful abba for what you have done, continue to do and will do in and through me. May I teach Kamea your will. Protect us from all that will hinder us from getting to you. I don't want to build a fat baby. I will continue to follow you. Thanks for meeting me here today. I enjoy ever part of your presence. I praise you in Jesus name, amen!

Our Commission

6/12/15

- We're more connected than we realize and God can use that connectedness as a means for us to fulfill his Great Commission.
- " You will tell everyone about me in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria, and everywhere in the world." (Acts 1:8 CEV)
- His followers are to reach out to their community (Jerusalem), to their country (Judea), to other cultures (Samaria) and to other nations (everywhere in the world).
- our commission is simultaneous, not sequential.
- How would you identify these groups in your community? What nations do you believe God has called you to serve in some form?
     - Just as God called every prophet and every messenger of his truth in the Bible to speak, God has called me. My theme is to Know Your Voice in order to Speak Out about the things hidden deep within.  I will reach my local community, county, big city and state by hosting events and school assemblies encouraging students to speak out. Try my best to create a safe environment to share. I believe God has called me to the nations where there is high sex trafficking in order to encourage the women to speak out about who they are in order to be who God has made them.
- But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts of the Apostles 1:8 NLT)

S: But Peter replied, “May your money be destroyed with you for thinking God’s gift can be bought! You can have no part in this, for your heart is not right with God. Repent of your wickedness and pray to the Lord. Perhaps he will forgive your evil thoughts, for I can see that you are full of bitter jealousy and are held captive by sin.” (Acts of the Apostles 8:20-23 NLT)

Fire tests the purity of silver and gold, but the LORD tests the heart. (Proverbs 17:3 NLT)

O: I will receive power from the Holy Spirit whenever I speak on Gods behalf to my community, across the country and to the nations he has called me to.  I have something unique no one else has and no one can go buy at Walmart. No one can purchase the gift God has given me so I must protect it, use it and defend it at all cost. Many will try to mock what I do, but their hearts won't be with God. Nevertheless, I daily should repent of my sin and pray. Maybe God would will forgive my thoughts of fear and doubt. For he sees I am full of self sabotage and held captive by sin.

A: I have chosen to remain married to John despite it not originally being Gods will. Yet God has chosen to still use me. Therefore, I need to suck it up buttercup and get moving on what he has called me to be. Like Gwendolyn said, I knew before I was married what John was about and I still went through with it. The Lord is testing my heart. All I need to do is stay focused on him and he will grant my request. I have yet to show myself approved.

P: Heavenly Abba, I come to you at your throne of mercy and grace. I acknowledge your power and authority over my life and I repent of not giving you all my burdens. I repent of my sin and given the enemy power of my thoughts and body. I kicki fit off and give it to you. You are wonderful and glorious!!!! You never cease to remind me of who you are and who I am in you. My identity is in you. Create in me a clean heart and purify me. Help navigate positive thoughts and give my husband wisdom bs guidance according to your will. May I have peace for whatever happens and not wait to do the things I know I should be doing. Thank you in advance for your blessing I this day. May my attitude reflect Christ. You know my character, you know me behind closed doors may I be the same at all times. In your precious name Jesus, amen.

God Knows

6/9/15

- The fact that God knows everything about my life is a tremendous motivator for me to live a godly life. I realize that nothing in my life is in secret.
- Nothing that is to come will catch him by surprise.
- nothing I do in God's name is ever done in vain.
(Rick Warren Daily Devotion)
- God says, "I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." (Jeremiah 29:11 MSG)

S: It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones. (Psalms 127:2 NLT)

O: Before I was formed in my mothers womb I was set apart by God. He knew me then and he knows me know. He set me apart to bring to victory nobleman to there estate and appointed me as a speaker to nations. He knows every hurt, every desire, every struggle, every hidden part about me. Therefore I should rise to the occasion and live godly by thinking godly. Thinking Godly about my marriage, thinking godly about my future. Nothing is done in secret, so what's the worst that can happen by living godly? Nothing I do surprises God and what I do in his name will not be done in vain. God knows me.

A: God knows me and he loves me unconditionally. There is nothing I can do to make him love me any less!!!! He cares for me enough to remind me that it is useless to grind anxiously. When I do things godly and in his name, I will have rest.

P: Husband Daddy, my prayer today is simple. Help me endure the day and find rest in you. In Jesus name, amen.

God sees me

6/8/15

- The Bible says every good deed will be rewarded, no matter how insignificant and regardless of whether anybody else on earth sees it.
- it's God. He's out there clapping and saying, "I see that good thing you just did. Keep on going! Nobody else saw it, but I saw it."
- God says, "I see it, and it doesn't matter who else sees it."
- Nothing good we ever do is ever done in vain. God sees it all.
(Rick Warren Daily Devotion)

S: I will give you what you asked for! I will give you a wise and understanding heart such as no one else has had or ever will have! And I will also give you what you did not ask for—riches and fame! No other king in all the world will be compared to you for the rest of your life! (1 Kings 3:12-13 NLT)

O: I'm very discouraged to achieve what God has called me to due to the resistance of John. I'm trying to be the change I want to see and it's overwhelming. Then from his perspective his decisions are less because I change everything into what I want to do. I incorporate him in every decision making needed. Every time I feel like this I think it's my fault. If I respected him more, if I spoke his love language. If I do things unto God then he will love me. Then he will notice me. Then he will make me feel like a Queen. I AM A QUEEN, a lioness, hear me roar!!!! John may not notice me, make me feel loved, make me feel desired by him, but God sees me. I know loves me and I know when I do things into him he recognizes me. His Spirit goes before me and gives me the desires of my heart. God sees it, he sees me. What I do to sustain my relationship with God, to pursue my husband, to build my daughter, to enhance my ministry is not done in vain. God sees me!!!!

A: Solomon acknowledges what God has already done then asks God for what he truly desired, wisdom. No one on this earth will ever be as wise as Solomon. For Solomon's genuine heart, God gave him all that he didn't ask for, riches and fame. There will never be another like Solomon.

P: You have taken me precious Lord from abuse, addiction, negative thinking, being mute and a disrespectful attitude. You have brought me to greatness! You have stood with me against my enemies you have triumphed!!!! Lord hear my cry, as I ask for the wisdom of Solomon over my marriage, as a mother and on the path as a speaker. You have called me to be apart of a center, open your gates and may the event be done in your name. If it's about me, if it's about us, move us out of the way. Abba Father, take over!!!! May the meeting this week be clear and definite as you have called me exactly where I am. Speak and guide my husband to your will. Lead him not into temptation of settling. May I not fear who I am in you. Lord I seek you daily and will make this time a way of life not a habit. Love you husband daddy. In Jesus name, amen.

Encouragement

6/6/15

- when you get up in the morning, go over your schedule with the Lord. Pray, "Father, You've already seen this day that I'm about to experience. Tell me the things that are important today and then help me to focus on them."
(Rick Warren Daily Devotion)
- Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come. (Jeremiah 33:3 NLT)

S: Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness. (Acts of the Apostles 4:30-31 NLT)

For instance, there was Joseph, the one the apostles nicknamed Barnabas (which means “Son of Encouragement”). (Acts of the Apostles 4:36a NLT)

O: Planning is important. Have clear smart goals and a plan of exciting them. I have overall life goals. I need to work backwards from them and ask God to guide me in my decision making. Planning is important in building my name. God has anointed us and the Holy Spirit has guided us to miraculous healing, through the lives we will touch within the Hope. We're in the business of restoring lives! Filled with the Spirit, we will preach the word of God with boldness.

A: I am Barnabas, a daughter of encouragement. Just as Barnabas raised up Paul, I will rise up a generation, a people who may have suffered much, but God will turn it around. I need to make a plan of execution. I am the tool, the match that God is using to ignite this Valley with a new legacy. We will break the curse by stretching out our hands, with hope, restoration and change. It's time to live in the spirit and preach like never before with boldness.

P: Jesus! Name above all names!!!! We come knee bowed at your feet. Let your Spirit feel this place! May your glory overwhelm us. Continue to speak through your word, for your servant is listening. I am unclear how the church for The Hope will be, but may I not be selfish. May your will, not mine be done. You are showing me glimpse of your glory. May I take hold of what you are showing me. Help me to plan accordingly. May not our will, but yours be done. In Jesus name, amen.

God is in Control

6/1/15

- The things you wish were most removed from your life are often the very things that God is using to shape you and make you into the believer of character He wants you to be. He wants to use that problem for good in your life. There's something more important than your pain. It's what you're learning from that pain. God is in control.
- look past the pain.

(Rick Warren Daily Devotion)
- "This is the reason we never lose heart. These troubles which are temporary are winning for us a permanent, a glorious and solid reward out of proportion to our pain. So we don't look at the temporary situation. We look beyond to see the eternal benefits." (2 Corinthians 4:16-17 Phillips)
- So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. (1 Peter 1:6-7 NLT)
S: Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone’s sins, they are forgiven. If you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.” (John 20:21-23 NLT)

Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!”
(John 20:27b NLT)

Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.” (John 20:29 NLT)

But these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life by the power of his name. (John 20:31 NLT)

O: I am exactly where I need to be. Pain and all. Just as my muscles are being rebuilt in exercise, so my character through pain. That's what E meant by using the pain to push him to greatness. He was molded into who he is by his pain. The pain is temporary, I must endure for a little while! There's something greater than the pain!!!!! They will show me my faith, my genuine faith and through the refining I will receive glory and honor in Jesus Christ!!!!

A: Peace is with me for I have been sent into this world by Christ Jesus just as he was sent. The breathe of heaven is upon me. I have the power of the Holy Spirit drenched within me. Forgiveness is at my fingertips. I am no longer faithless!!!! I believe who I am becoming in the process is greater than the pain!!!! I trust Jesus in the process!!!!

P: Who am I that you call me blessed oh Heavenly Father? I am just your servant. I continue to believe no matter how painful it may feel. I will endure through Jesus the messiah, the son of God!!!! I believe in Jesus power over me!!!! I have life by the power of his name, therefore I must commit to building my name. I am Elizabeth Bernice Ellsworth, set apart to God to bring to victory Nobleman to there estate, to there worth! Thank you for all you have done in revealing these things to me, in Jesus name, amen!

God Speaks

5/28/15

- God designed you to hear his voice.
- The primary way that God speaks is through the Bible.
- God's will is found in God's Word.
- God also speaks through godly Bible teachers. Have you ever been in church or at a Bible study and you feel like the teacher is speaking directly to you? In that moment, God is speaking directly to you.
- God also speaks through other Christians. -He even speaks through you.
- God will use you to say things to people that he wants to say to them.
- God speaks through every believer at different times.
- God also speaks through your circumstances and your pain.
- Tune in to God and he will lead you on the right path.
(Rick Warren Daily Devotion)
- For God speaks again and again, though people do not recognize it. (Job 33:14 NLT)

S: I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. They do not belong to this world any more than I do. Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth.

I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. (John 17:14-19, 21 NLT)

If your instructions hadn’t sustained me with joy, I would have died in my misery. I will never forget your commandments, for by them you give me life. (Psalms 119:92-93 NLT)

O: We as believers hear God through his word, through godly principles, through other believers and also throughout own lives. He uses our pain to speak out to other sad long as we are willing to come out of our darkness into the hop he has given us. Many are in desperate need of transformation, which comes from listening to God when he speaks. We as believers are given the word of God through Jesus to be his light. The world will hate us. They see and know we don't belong in this world. Jesus then ask God to protect us as he was protected in this world.  Therefore with this covering we are made holy in his truth. We must continue to learn from Gods word which is truth. It's full circle, just as Jesus was brought into this world we are being sent into this world. Jesus sacrificed himself so we can be made holy by Gods truth.

A: We are united, not just with other believers but specifically Janell, Delain and I. We are one as the trinity are one. Our ministry, our callings are woven together as one. We all must be in Gods covering, in Jesus' love so that his name be glorified.

P: You choose us in our darkness. We didn't pick each other, God from before time began our lives were destined for us to met through BU. not only would we have not been there in support of E, we had to connect through BU. You are so divine! To be in you is to be in your word and abide by the principles you have given us, your instructions to seize and sustain greatness! To seize and sustain joy!!!! If it was not for us coming out of our darkness, we would have died in our misery. We are BU, we are IUE. We are the hands and feet of IUE in CO. I pray over ETA and how this is to be connected. Open there hearts for your will, not mine. Reveal to them, the squad, Delain, Janell what you have revealed to me. May it all be for your glory. I'm never forgetting you or your commands, for they give me long life, eternal life. I praise you in advance for your work in all of this. In Jesus name, amen.

You Will Receive

5/27/15

S: But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you. And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment.

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me. (John 16:7-8, 13-14 NLT)

You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy. (John 16:24 NLT)

May all who fear you find in me a cause for joy, for I have put my hope in your word. I know, O LORD, that your regulations are fair; you disciplined me because I needed it. Now let your unfailing love comfort me, just as you promised me, your servant. (Psalms 119:74-76 NLT)

O: The Holy Spirit convicts us. It is he who guides us in godly truth. He gives us motivation for our future and gives God glory by revealing Gods path to us.

A: when ask in Jesus name I must believe in doubt. If don't expect God to answer, he won't. If I ask in faith through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I will receive and have joy!

P: Heavenly Father, I am set part to you therefore I am saturated in  you. May all who I encounter find joy for my hope is also in your word. You are a fair God, in love, discipline and instruction. May your unfailing love never cease to comfort me. For the you have promised me as your servant. I delight in you. You are wonderful. May you be over this event. May your spirit go before us and may all the right doors open. Please be among the hearts and minds of Janell and Ed along with John and I. We are your children, ease are pain as we cry out the best way we know how. Come heal your land! I pray this all in faith believing it will be done in Jesus might name, amen!
