That one

11/30/15

S: “I have wandered away like a lost sheep; come and find me, for I have not forgotten your commands.” Psalms 119:176 NLT

O: In yesterday's message it also talked about a man who dreamt and counted sheep. He counted 99 and one was missing. That one missing sheep was lonely and afraid. Misguided and waiting to die until the man found it. I am that one missing sheep. Once again allowing my circumstances to silence me. Just like the movie Click, when something traumatic happens I automatically respond the way I'm most comfortable responding instead of asking for help or figuring out a solution.

A: If I can provide a solution to the providers at work, have the passion to help others find a solution to there traumatic experiences. I can do the same for myself because I'm worth it!

P: Oh magnificent Father. How have I wandered in fear, doubt and confusion. Yet you have found me and long for me to fully surrender. My mind and my words have relinquished, may my heart follow also. I do believe you had called me here, and you hadn't called me away yet. Once I was able to confront Paul with sincerity, you released me from here. Or rather I released myself. The chapter of Grand Juncrtion has turned but I will return to do more in this city in ministry. Who knows what you have in store. My foundation is in you oh Christ Jesus my Lord. Continue to instruct my heart toward your ways. Deliver me from my selfish ways and may I become selfless like you. I don't want to neglect my personal needs, I desire beauty and wisdom. Be with me as I begin this new journey as a speaker. Capture my heart, move in my spirit. I long to be where you are. I pray this all in your winderful name Jesus, amen.

Appointed

11/26/15

S: “The king said to Daniel, “Truly, your God is the greatest of gods, the Lord over kings, a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this secret.” Then the king appointed Daniel to a high position and gave him many valuable gifts. He made Daniel ruler over the whole province of Babylon, as well as chief over all his wise men.” Daniel 2:47-48 NLT

O: Daniel was appointed because of his faith in God, not on his own merit.

A: Relinquishing all to God will appoint me in the direction of his will. Who I am to be is not determined by my location. It's determined by fully relinquishing myself to God.

P: Wow! What an amazing and awesome God you are. Joseph, Noah, Job, David, Solomon and the list goes on of all those who simply surrendered to you and therefore were shown favor and put into places beyond there understanding. Grand Junction is great. I grew a lot here and now it's time to relinquish myselfish ways and truly live in surrender to you. Not because of where you will take me, but the person I am becoming in the process. I love you Lord for believing in me even when I failed to hear what you spoke to me. I am forever grateful. In Jesus  name, amen.

Determined

11/25/15

S: “But Daniel was determined not to defile himself by eating the food and wine given to them by the king. He asked the chief of staff for permission not to eat these unacceptable foods.” Daniel 1:8 NLT

““Please test us for ten days on a diet of vegetables and water,” Daniel said. “At the end of the ten days, see how we look compared to the other young men who are eating the king’s food. Then make your decision in light of what you see.”

At the end of the ten days, Daniel and his three friends looked healthier and better nourished than the young men who had been eating the food assigned by the king.” Daniel 1:12-13, 15 NLT

“Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.”
1 Peter 3:8-9 NLT

“Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong!” 1 Peter 3:17 NLT

“My suffering was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to your decrees. Your instructions are more valuable to me than millions in gold and silver. You made me; you created me. Now give me the sense to follow your commands.” Psalms 119:71-73 NLT

O: I am 254 pounds. I have been slamming down undefiled food instead of being determined to eat healthier. I don't need permission to not eat unhealthy, it's truly a matter of life and death. Not just for Kamea's mom, but also for Kamea. For ten days, let's reset my taste buds and learn to eat and cook healthier food.i need to start with water. For right now, just finish one bottle. In ten days, take it up. This journey is about consistency and health. It's time for a healthier and better nourished lifestyle.

A: This includes being on the same page with God. Maybe then I'll have a little sympathy for myself and love myself enough to take care of me. I need to be sensitive and have a humble attitude in loving me. Therefore, when someone does something to me my first response isn't to retaliate. Going deeper into Jesus will lead to blessing. It is who I am called to be, and I will be a blessing.

P: Oh Heavenly Father, holy is your name. You are the coming Messiah I long to worship you!!!! Oh Jesus son of God have mercy on me. I want to be real, I want to be empty inside to lay down my life like Daniel. To be healthy in Breyer nourished, in body and within my relationships. What do you want me to do? Who am I to be? Am I to suffer in doing good or suffer in doing wrong? Do I move to Denver to a place of unknown with no support or do I stay because of the support I do have? If you have already shown me please tell me more clearly. If not, please tell me as clear as day without confusion. Or maybe the question is am I too remain married? If so guide our hearts back to you. You know my desires. What am I willing to suffer for? I need to know your purpose not everyone's opinions. You made me, your created me, you know me. Tell me what is best for me. Reveal your right path for my life and give me the sense to follow. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Favor, you already have it

11/20/15

Since pleasing God is the first purpose of your life, your most important task is to discover how to do that. The Bible says, "Figure out what will please Christ, and then do it." (Ephesians 5:10 MSG)
“Carefully determine what pleases the Lord.” Ephesians 5:10 NLT
“But Noah found favor with the LORD.”
Genesis 6:8 NLT
“May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you.” Numbers 6:25 NLT
( Rick Warren Daily Devotional)

R- The first purpose, before self, husband, child, calling, is God. Not just as the almighty God, but the most important task to figure out, to carefully determine what please him and DO IT. Faith is believing, the action is pleasing like Noah. Noah found so much favor with God, God re establishes his people through Noah. My first purpose is to be someone God smiles on and is gracious to. Wait wait wait, twice this week I have seen God work through my family, he already favors me because I have chosen  to surrender. This morning I said, I don't want to have to move to Denver.

Action

11/19/15

surrendering is never just a one-time event.
- The practice of surrender requires perseverance. It is moment-by-moment and lifelong. You may have to re-surrender your life fifty times a day: "If people want to follow me, they must give up the things they want. They must be willing even to give up their lives [daily] to follow me." (Matthew 16:24 NCV)
“Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me.” Matthew 16:24 NLT
(Rick Warren Daily Devotional)

S: “Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” He was even called the friend of God. So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone.”
James 2:21-24 NLT
http://bible.com/116/jas.2.21-24.nlt

“It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people.”
Psalms 118:8 NLT
http://bible.com/116/psa.118.8.nlt

O: His actions, faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. Because of faith, but not by faith alone.

A: God has done too much for me and has brought me too far for me not to believe and have faith in him. Just yesterday he reminded me of his faithfulness through his work within Kamea. However, you couldn't tell that by my actions. It's time to apply action. It's been time. Monday as Pateick shared has ignited a fire within me. The heat of that fire can't just attract like to my course, but more important in my marriage and in my parenting. Despite the opportunity I have with Patrick I am a wife and mother first. I need to put my faith in action in these roles.

P: Heavenly Father, Comin messiah, how great and how awesome are thee. You are wonderful! Please give me courage to be wise and discerning. And the confidence to keep my boundaries. In Jesus name amen

For Your Glory

11/17/15

As Joshua approached the biggest battle of his life, he encountered God, fell in worship before him, and surrendered his plans.
- Surrender doesn't weaken you, it strengthens you.
When you surrender to Christ, you fulfill the very purpose he died for - not just to save you from hell, but also to save you from self-centeredness!
“For we don’t live for ourselves or die for ourselves. If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” Romans 14:7-8 NLT
(Rick Warren Daily Devotional)

S: “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.”
James 1:2-4 NLT

“But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.” James 1:6-8 NLT

“And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death. “So don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters.” James 1:13-16 NLT

O: 1 Any kind of trouble = great joy
2 Tested faith = growth in endurance
     3 Fully developed endurance =
        Completion and need of nothing
In order to fulfill steps 1-3, my faith has to be in God. I can't have physical loyalty with the Espinoza's, projected loyalty with John and hypothetic loyalty to God. As I have lately been experiencing, not fully having faith in God alone and having my loyalty be with him has created great confusion and frustration. Yet God is not a God of confusion nor will he lead me to temptation.

A: My fault comes down to honoring my faith or my husband? I hear God say you will be great no matter where you are because its who you are. But what if who I am doesn't want to move to Denver? Yet my husband is there who doesn't respect my faith nor who I am. I feel rebellion  against John if I stay but God will bless me either way.

P: Lord if I found favor in your sight. Lord please hear my hearts cry. I'm desperately waiting. To be where you are. I'll cross the highest desert, to be where you are. For your glory. I want to do anything. Just to see you and live out your will. I want to be where you are. Guide me where you are. I long to be where you are. Please oh God give me wisdom and desernment to have faith in you alone. May my desire of revenge, envy, jealousy, be set aside. I cast my cares in you oh Heavenly Father. I want to do purpose. In Jesus name, amen.

Grace

11/16/15

In surrender, you begin to really live the life God intended: "Only those who throw away their lives for my sake and for the sake of the Good News will ever know what it means to really live." (Mark 8:35 LB)
- All your lives you've let sin tell you what to do. But thank God you've started listening to a new master, one whose commands set you free to live openly in his freedom!" (Romans 6:16-18 MSG)
- she humbly responded, "I am the Lord's servant! Let it happen as you have said." (Luke 1:38 CEV)
- Nothing is more powerful than a surrendered life in the hands of God.
““Submit to God, and you will have peace; then things will go well for you.” Job 22:21 NLT
“Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living.” Romans 6:18 NLT
(Rick Warren Daily Devotional)

S: “They heard the alarm but ignored it, so the responsibility is theirs. If they had listened to the warning, they could have saved their lives.” Ezekiel 33:5 NLT

“When I tell righteous people that they will live, but then they sin, expecting their past righteousness to save them, then none of their righteous acts will be remembered. I will destroy them for their sins.” Ezekiel 33:13 NLT

O: it is not my responsibility to be other people's savior. I am to do my part in fulfilling my responsibility by leading then to Salvation, it is up to them to accept it. If I have done my part and they fail to take responsibility, their death is on their hands.

A: However, the more I continue to fear man instead of God and hold back from his calling I am hindering people of the story he gave me and I in turn am responsible for those deaths. I was born into sin but Christ came so I can live again, live in freedom of Gods purpose for my life. God gave me grace, and I am righteous in his eyes. Yet, if I remain in fear, if I let down my boundary, if I allow myself to fall into crisis by not maintaining what I have control over maintaining. I will no longer be seeing as righteous and my past will not save me. The time is now to do purpose.

P: Grace, unending, Grace you won't let go! You won't let go, never let go. Oh sobering father. Before I was born you knew my story and gifted me to use it for the saving of lost souls. Yet I've been corwarding behind being mute, cowarding behind my addiction and now cowarding behind fear. You have given me freedom and have given me joy in what I love doing. This year I dedicate to you a year of doing purpose. None of this waiting to be validated by my mom, family, siblings, or spouse. No more will I try to survive on the joy of Kamea's heart or the sacrifice my leaders have made. I know my validation comes from you and the foundation of joy is in you. You are a graceful God! I praise you for your unfailing love and grace. In Jesus name.
