O: Even after receiving the anointing to go to deliver Gods people Moses pleaded his inadequacy. God reaffirms him it's not about you, it's about me who gives you words and tells your mouth to speak and how they will receive it. Go now and speak to my people. Moses still feeling inadequate and discourage pleads once again send anyone, anyone else, but not me. God become angry. How dare Moses not want to be use. How dare me not see himself as the speaker I want him to be. Fine, we'll use your brother who speaks well. But I called you Moses, I will speak to you and you give your brother the words to speak and I'll shepherd, instruct and guide you both.
A: Lately as I prepare for a speech I have been just like Moses. Denying my anointing and allowing my doubt in who I am take over. I don't prepare and end up crash memorizing. When I get up to speak I beat myself up that I could have prepare better. Yesterday I read an interview about Steph Curry in Business Insider. I found something great about what he said. The game is apart of the process not an event to be prepared for. As Doc was saying as well. How do you prepare for the championship, Curry answered, it starts at the beginning of the season. I'm treating my speaking opportunity as events, not preparing for them outside of when they come up. Curry also said, he does an average of 500 dribbles in off season and does less during season to over exert himself. Just like Moses, God reaffirms me that I am a courageous and confident speaker. He minds me of who I am in him and that he will give me the words to speak and allow my audience to hear what they need to hear. Though someone else can speak better, I don't want to give them the words God has given to me. I accept Gods instruction.
P: And yet I still hear you calling my name! I'm so glad oh Heavenly Father that you're wisdom is beyond my doubt and insecurities. You LORD put words into my mouth. You make my mouth and decide whether I speak or not. You decide who hears and does not, who sees and and who does not see. It is you! I will go! You will be with me as I speak and you Weill instruct me in what to say. I praise you and thank you for being with me. In Jesus name, amen.
