- surrendering is never just a one-time event.
- The practice of surrender requires perseverance. It is moment-by-moment and lifelong. You may have to re-surrender your life fifty times a day: "If people want to follow me, they must give up the things they want. They must be willing even to give up their lives [daily] to follow me." (Matthew 16:24 NCV)
- “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me.” Matthew 16:24 NLT

S: “Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” He was even called the friend of God. So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone.”
James 2:21-24 NLT

“It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people.”

O: His actions, faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. Because of faith, but not by faith alone.
A: God has done too much for me and has brought me too far for me not to believe and have faith in him. Just yesterday he reminded me of his faithfulness through his work within Kamea. However, you couldn't tell that by my actions. It's time to apply action. It's been time. Monday as Pateick shared has ignited a fire within me. The heat of that fire can't just attract like to my course, but more important in my marriage and in my parenting. Despite the opportunity I have with Patrick I am a wife and mother first. I need to put my faith in action in these roles.
P: Heavenly Father, Comin messiah, how great and how awesome are thee. You are wonderful! Please give me courage to be wise and discerning. And the confidence to keep my boundaries. In Jesus name amen
