Execute

S: “Some of the gatekeepers were assigned to care for the various articles used in worship. They checked them in and out to avoid any loss. Others were responsible for the furnishings, the items in the sanctuary, and the supplies, such as choice flour, wine, olive oil, frankincense, and spices.” 1 Chronicles 9:28-29 NLT

“So Saul and his three sons died there together, bringing his dynasty to an end.” 1 Chronicles 10:6 NLT

“So Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD. He failed to obey the LORD’s command, and he even consulted a medium instead of asking the LORD for guidance. So the LORD killed him and turned the kingdom over to David son of Jesse.” 1 Chronicles 10:13-14 NLT

O: God has called some of us to be used in worship. Others preach, some cook or may own a business. Nevertheless, we all have an assignment and we are responsible for putting our faith in action through our assignment.

A: My fear is that I would think myself out of executing Gods will/ not taking full responsibility of my assignment. In doing so I never fulfill Gods calling and like Saul he'll say, I made a mistake in calling you. In the scripture we don't here much about Sauls other sins, but we know Jonathan and David had a spiritual connection. However, Jonathan died alongside his dad and brothers. There was no one left to continue Saul's regin, his dynasty/bloodline had ended. If we are unfaithful in our gifts, in taking responsibility of our assignment it will be taken and our enemy will take our place.

P: Heavnely father, coming messiah, my prayer today is to declare to you my faithfulness toward my call and taken full responsibility over my assignment. I will not fail to obey your commands. I will always come to you for guidance. Please don't kill me and over turn my gifts to my enemy. Fill me up with your strengths and presence. May your spirit never leave me. I declare your will over my life and I vow to expect it, establish it and execute it! In Jesua name, amen.
