Encouragement

Our words give encouragement and hope. When we share about the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, our words bring eternal life. ---Greg C. Gunn

“I pray my child will become a great communicator of your word and your love to all people he/she comes in contact with. In Jesus name, Amen.”

Meditation means seriously thinking about something.

a person who meditates on God's Word is "like a tree planted by streams of water which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers" (v. 2-3). 

S: Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where he was tempted by the devil for forty days. Jesus ate nothing all that time and became very hungry. (Luke 4:1-2 NLT)

When the devil had finished tempting Jesus, he left him until the next opportunity came. (Luke 4:13 NLT)

O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. (Psalms 63:1 NLT)

O: it's almost cliche to hear, "well Jesus was tempted and so will you." However, there are great things happening in these verses. First, Jesus was full of the Spirit. Then he was lead by the spirit. He was in the wilderness. Fasting and hungry. At our weakest points we must first be filled with the spirit for when temptation comes we will be lead by the spirit to overcome it!!!! Each time the enemy tempted Jesus, Jesus overcome by using the word. We must be in our word daily so when the enemy attempts to tempt us we may respond with truth!!!! When we have exposed our foundation in God and have stood through the temptation we must continue to stand. For when the enemy is finished he will continue to find the opportunity to tent us again. 

A: I am not above temptation. At every angle the enemy is prepared to tempt me. Yet the more I seriously devote my self to the word of and memorize the words in my heart I will always endure temptation and have a firm ground whenever the enemy tries again!

P: Oh husband daddy!!!! My soul waits for you. My soul thirst for you. My soul waits for you my soul thirst!!!! I earnestly seek your face oh God! My entire being yearns for you. Even in the most of tiredness. Oh Heavenly Father, may I meditate on your word and make it alive daily. You are gray oh God!!!! Thank you for your sovereignty!!!! Thank you for the divine appointment last night and the friends I will gain from this event please be with my heart and Andrea's heart. Give us a desire after you. I pray for Tamara and all the First Ladies as they become vulnerable today. We praise you for the work you will complete in us as we gather amongst like souls in the name of Jesus. Amen!
