Exceed Expectations

- If you want your work to be blessed by God, you need to exceed what is expected of you. No matter what you do, do more than the minimum. Don't just get by.

- God wants you to go beyond the normal and surpass what is required of you....exceed the expectations....That is the kind of work God blesses.

- Americans used to take pride in their craft, but today it has become about just getting by. So many people just put in their time, do the minimum that's required of them and cut corners, getting by on as little effort as possible.

- That's the bad news. The good news is that this makes it very easy to stand out at work. Any time you take pride in your work and decide to do more than expected, you'll rise to the top.

Give to the LORD the glory he deserves! Bring your offering and come into his courts. (Psalms 96:8 NLT)

O: I never really read the story of Gideon. I'm glad I had the opportunity today. For I feel much like Gideon. The weakest of my BU family. Yet God looks beyond that and says, "Go with the strength you have....I am sending you....I will be with you"! Even with his words spoken over me my heart is hardened. Who am I to keep pressing onward? I have yet to be consistent and follow through. 

A: Whatever the emotion maybe. God deserves more. I have to let go of the disbelief. I have to give up the pity party and the victim mentality. Everything in my life is not an excuse to wallow in my pity. It's the reason greatness is upon me. It's the reason why I am phenomenal!!!! 

P: Oh Lion of Judah!!!! May this song be my prayer. Come forth and take me in! Oh Lion of Judah come forth and take me in. I surrender to your will have your way take me in!!!! I surrender to your will, have your way take me in!!!! Emotional walls come down and may love replace every lie, every vow, every defeat of the enemy. I need your spirit your precious spirit come forth and take me in. Sweet Heavenly Father come forth and take me in! Deliver me oh God!!!! No matter what may I remember you my surrender to your will! Have your way, have your way, have your way! Take me in oh God!!!! In Jesus name!!!!
