God's Light

3/7/15

His peace is complete, adequate, and sufficient for anything you face.
- Keep in mind three keys to experiencing sustained peace: Focus on God. --- Trust Him. ---Meditate on His Word.
- Great goals require great sacrifice.
- Don't begin working toward your goals until you've counted the cost.
- pray that God will help you get a clear vision of what he wants you to be and do.
And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? (Mark 8:36 NLT)
("What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?" (Mark 8:36 NIV) )

S: “Give Aaron the following instructions: When you set up the seven lamps in the lampstand, place them so their light shines forward in front of the lampstand.” So Aaron did this. He set up the seven lamps so they reflected their light forward, just as the LORD had commanded Moses. (Numbers 8:2-3 NLT)

Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God, and keep the vows you made to the Most High. Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.” (Psalms 50:14-15 NLT)

But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.” (Psalms 50:23 NLT)

S: I am God's light and it should not be yielded but should shine forward. No matter the cost my light should reflect forward. Just as the vows to my husband are important, so are the vows to God. Something needs to be sacrificed to keep my vow to God. I should not be ashamed to call on my creator in times of trouble. He will always rescue me and give me glory. What am I willing to sacrifice to see the glory of God through the changing of lives?

A: My life is to be lived to lead people to victory, instead of keeping them contained in there weakness by succumbing to their inability to live in their potential. Thankfulness, giving thanks by living out his will for my life truly is a sacrifice that honors God. Despite of Johns inability to see himself the way God sees him I have to keep on God's path. I am not not his Savior. Until I can truly understand that and move forward I will remain stuck in my current situation and unable to see the true salvation of God.

P: God no. Please I don't want to lose my soul. I don't want to forfeit my calling because I put myself as John's savior. The more I withhold myself from reflecting my light forward, the more I hinder John into becoming the man you have called him to be. Change my heart oh God. May thankfulness be my stronghold. May I give thanks to you through fulfilling who you have called me to be. I am so sorry for holding back your servant from. Filling his call, out call. Give me strength as I transition into my role. Give me assurance that this is your wills for me oh God. Capture my heart again Lord. Reveal to me your salvation. Pardon my unknowing and give us he desire of our hearts. I praise you oh Heavenly Father for giving me great insight his morning. May I do your will with no distractions. In Jesus name, amen.
